Building costs rose by 0.6 per cent in June year-on-year

According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 0.6 per cent in June 2019 compared with the previous year's June. The prices of labour inputs and services increased by 0.9 per cent. The prices of materials went up by 0.3 per cent from June 2018.

Long term development of the Building Cost Index

From May to June, the total index of building costs remained almost on level with the previous month. The prices of materials decreased by 0.7 per cent, but the prices of labour inputs increased by 1.0 per cent. The prices of services remained on level with May.
