Share of professionals and associate professionals highest in Uusimaa

According to Statistics Finland's employment statistics, Uusimaa was the region with most professionals and associate professionals among its employed labour force, i.e. 43 per cent at the end of 2010. The share was lowest in South Ostrobothnia and Central Ostrobothnia. Of all professionals in business services and administration, and information and communication technology, over half lived in the Uusimaa region. One-third of professionals in the field of education and human health activities resided in Uusimaa.
