Price index of public expenditure 2025, 2nd quarter

Price index of public expenditure rose in local government finances and in central in the second quarter of 2025

According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, the price index of public expenditure rose in central government by 1.5 per cent in the second quarter of 2025 compared with one year earlier. The price index of local government finances rose by 0.4 per cent and the price index of basic municipal services by 2.7 per cent over the same period.

Change

The data content of the statistics on the price index of public expenditure will be reduced on 28 th October 2025.
