Most turnover was generated in less than truck load and full truck load transport in the industry of freight transport by road and removal services in 2020

According to Statistics Finland's statistics on service industry commodities, the majority of the turnover of services in freight transport by road and removal services (494), or 40.8 per cent, consisted of less than truck load and full truck load road transport in 2020. The turnover from less than truck load and full truck load transport was EUR 2.5 billion. The product category with the smallest turnover share was removal services, 1.5 per cent of the industry's turnover. The turnover amounted to close on EUR 100 million.

Description: Statistics describe the structure of turnover and services produced in certain branches of industry providing services. The statistics are based on European Parliament and Council regulation (EC) no. 295/2008 concerning structural business statistics. It defines the branches of industry involved, the data content of the statistics and the classification of service products.

The name of the statistics is changed to describe more closely the content of the statistics, because the statistics now cover not only industries producing services for enterprises but also other service industries.
