Students and qualifications: Database table and publication corrected

Description of the correction

The data published for 2024 on the modes of competence acquisition were erroneous in database table 14rw Students and qualifications in vocational education by mode of competence acquisition. The error was caused by some of the data not being downloaded to the database.

The errors also affected the release on vocational education and training 2024, which was published on 28 May 2025. The data were corrected on 28 May 2026 at 8 am.

Data were missing from students and those with qualifications on modes of competence acquisition, such as a training agreement, apprenticeship training or a combination of these. For some data were missing completely, or data for them concerned only one mode of competence acquisition even though they had had several modes of competence acquisition during their studies. Thus, there have been changes in all the modes of competence acquisition for 2024.
