Renovation building: New database tables replacing old tables have been published in the statistics

revision release | time of change:

Information about the change

The statistics were renewed in connection with the publication of data for 2025. New database tables replace the old database tables that are archived.

In Table 15g7 - Renovation costs contracted by housing companies there is a break in comparability in the data on Renovations contracted by housing companies relative to the floor area of the building stock, EUR per m2. The EUR per m2 data for 2025 are not comparable with those for earlier years. The break in comparability is caused by improvements made to the processing of floor areas, where too large floor areas are corrected more easily than before with register data. If the processing had not been changed, the EUR per m2 data for 2025 would be approximately 15 per cent lower for block of flats companies, 22 per cent lower for terraced house companies and 17 per cent lower for types of housing company total.
