Prices of dwellings in housing companies: Releases and database tables corrected

Description of the correction

Errors in Tables 12fv and 12fw of new dwellings in housing companies were corrected. There were errors in table 12fv regarding the last quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. In table 12fw, the errors affected the year 2025.

The errors were caused by the fact that the data for December 2025 had been omitted from the index calculation due to missing coordinate data. Missing transactions affected the price indices of new dwellings in housing companies and the number of observations in the index calculation in the data for 2025. In the first quarter of 2026, the effect extended only to price indices and index changes.

The error had no effect on the published numbers of transactions.

Size of error correction

Annual data for 2025 were revised so that the index point figure and the annual change in the index fell by 0.1 percentage points.

The data for the last quarter of 2025 became revised as follows:

• The number of observations in the index calculation +46.5 per cent
• The index point figure -0.3 percentage points
• The quarterly change of the index -0.2 percentage points
• The annual change of the index -0.3 percentage points

The data for the first quarter of 2026 became revised as follows:

• The index point figure +2.2 percentage points
• The quarterly change of the index +2.0 percentage points
• The annual change of the index +1.7 percentage points
