Structural business and financial statement statistics: New Standard Industrial Classification TOL 2025 adopted in the statistics

Starting from the statistical reference year 2025, the new classification of economic activities TOL 2025 is used in the structural business and financial statement statistics.
The data for the statistical reference years 2024 to 2025 have been classified retrospectively according to the new classification of economic activities with the help of the classification conversion key.

The data of the statistics are published in database tables. New tables according to TOL 2025 replace the corresponding old tables. However, data for 2025 were still updated in the tables according to the old TOL 2008 classification.

Database tables according to the old Standard Industrial Classification (TOL 2008) will be archived in connection with the publication of data for 2026 in autumn 2027. After that, the archived database tables are available in the StatFin archive database.
