Statistics Finland renews statistics on wages and salaries: reviewed structure of earnings statistics in place of sector-specific statistics

Statistics Finland will combine the statistics on wages and salaries into the structure of earnings statistics in 2025. The aim of the review is to clarify and simplify the statistics on wages and salaries and to improve the comparability of data. Previously, wage and salary data have been published in five different sets of statistics, but in future, all the data can be found in one set of statistics.

Changes to prices of Research Services

Statistics Finland is preparing increases to the prices of the Research Services. The changes concern the prices of the data available for researchers and the Fiona remote access system and user fees. The changes will be made in stages over the coming years. The size of the price increases is not yet known. We will release more detailed information about the changes in pricing as soon as possible.

National accounts time series were revised

Statistics Finland published revised time series of national accounts and balance of payments statistics on 18 September 2024. As a result of the time series revision, the figures were revised starting from 2010.
