The geographic dataset contains data on the number of population by 1 km x 1 km grid.
The number of population is given as on the last day of the reference year (31 December) by age group. The dataset includes only inhabited grids.
The dataset can be used directly in Paikkatietoikkuna or by means of interface addresses in geographic information software.
You can study a dataset on the map of Paikkatietoikkuna without any separate geographic information software.
Move the map where you want by dragging the map. Zoom in or out the map to the desired scale level either by rotating the middle mouse button or by clicking the plus and minus signs in the map view.
