Here are example cases illustrating the invoicing schedule and calculation method. The prices of tailored datasets and user licences are examples, and in reality the price varies case-specifically according to the time spent on the work. FIONA capacity charges are also indicative, the exact cost is calculated on the basis of the capacity reserved on an hourly basis.

The new project gets a user licence for the cause of death dataset that is released to the project to be combined with the patient data already in their possession.
What kinds of invoices will the project receive?
Invoice 1: User licence EUR 800 (VAT 0 %)
- The Research Services use four working hours to prepare the user licence, which is why the licence is invoiced as a normal user licence.
Invoice 2: Dataset work EUR 575 + VAT.
- The dataset extraction is charged according to the fixed price list of causes of death. It is a question of extracting basic package variables for one personal identity code list.
No other invoices are issued. If the user licence for the dataset allows updated extractions of the data in later years, the updated extractions are invoiced as dataset work similarly as in invoice 2.

The FIONA project has six users and a commercial Windows machine of S size. The project decides on 13 February to increase the computing power of the project and switches to an L sized machine. The change is implemented on 18 February.
The project uses the L machine until 5 August and on the same day makes a request to change the machine back to S size for the rest of the year. The change is implemented on 12 August.
