Modes of Supply
Cross-border supply – takes place when a service is supplied from the territory of one World Trade Organization Member into the territory of any other Member.
Consumption abroad – takes place when the service is supplied in the territory of one Member to the service consumer of any other Member. These include income related to travel and tourism.
Commercial presence – takes place through the supply of a service by a service supplier of one member, through a commercial presence (branch office or affiliate) in the territory of any other member.
Presence of natural persons – takes place when an individual is temporarily present in the territory of an economy other than their own to provide a service.
