Building costs grew by 1.3 per cent year-on-year in September

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 1.3 per cent higher in September 2014 than in September of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 0.5 per cent, the prices of materials by 1.8 per cent and those of other inputs by 1.2 per cent from one year ago.

From August to September, the total index of building costs remained unchanged. The prices of labour inputs and materials were also at the same level. Prices of other inputs increased by 0.2 per cent.
