EDUC modules contain data on students in pre-primary and comprehensive education and students and qualifications in post-comprehensive education leading to a qualification or degree. Data from the register are available in varying amounts for different years.

FIRM Firm modules consist of ready-made datasets related to companies and employees. The modules encompass a wide range of subjects, including employee movements, company attributes, and even the importation of goods. Depending on the content of the FIRM module the dataset are intended to be updated annually, while certain modules receive updates multiple times throughout the year.

The FLOWN (Finnish Longitudinal OWNer-Employer-Employee Data) dataset enables the aggregation and use of data on enterprises and their owners in research. The data are based on information provided by the Tax Administration. The data set consists of four sub-modules containing data on shareholders, partners, dividends by payer and payee, and data on listed companies.

INFRA Location data module includes the location data of buildings in Statistics Finland's personal data repository combined with the resident population, i.e., the population permanently residing in Finland on the last day of each year.

The residence permit data of Migri are now licensed by Statistics Finland, and the first ready-made data set MIGR_OLESK Recidence permit data has been created from these data. Changes may still be made to the data set and we welcome feedback from users. The dataset contains sensitive data, so users will be required to complete a DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment).

TAX The Income Register is a national electronic database maintained by the Finnish Tax Administration. It contains real-time, payment-specific salary, pension, and benefit information for individuals. Pension and benefit information has been reported to the Income Register since the beginning of 2021, forming the TAX_BENEFIT dataset. Salary information has been reported since the beginning of 2019 and is compiled into the TAX_INCOMES dataset at Statistics Finland. The data is updated monthly and may also be updated retroactively.
